During the 2020 UN 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) held annually between the 25th of November to 10th December, ETSDI joined the rest of the world to call for action to end GBV especially violence against women and girls which increased during the Covid-19 Lockdown. We used our social media handles to bring daily updates on what individuals, organizations, and governments can do to contribute to ending GBV in our society. Our Head of Programme was also on Kiss FM Abuja on 8th December to speak on the increase in GBV in Nigeria during the covid-19 Lockdown.
